Resurrection Sunday 2012

" The Power of his Resurrection"

John 11:25-26; NET

Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even if he dies, and the one who lives and believes in me will never die.

Today we celebrate the resurrection of TLJC that is His vindication and the validation of his strategic victory in the angelic conflict that was accomplished by means of the cross. Col 2:15;

God validated his work by resurrecting him from the dead on the third day. 1Cor 15:3-4;

The divine power that used in the resurrection of Christ came from three sources.

1. The omnipotence of the Father restored our Lord's human spirit from heaven Luk 23:46 to His body in the grave and thereby became an agent in the resurrection, Acts 2:24; Rom 6:4; Eph 1:20; Col 2:12; 1Thes 1:10; 1Pe 1:21. .

2. The omnipotence of the Holy Spirit restored our Lord's human soul from the Paradise compartment of Hades Luke 23:43 to His body in the grave and thereby became an agent in the resurrection, Rom 1:4, Rom 8:11 and 1Pet 3:18-19

3 The omnipotence of God the Son in undiminished deity in the hypostatic union, as part of God the Father's plan for the dispensation of the Hypostatic Union raised his physical body from the tomb where he had been laid. Luke 23:53-55;

Jesus Christ said He would raise Himself from the dead in John 10:17-18; John 2:19-22

When they arrived at the tomb before dawn that Sunday morning he was already risen. Matt 28:1-6; Mark 16:2,9; Luke 24:1; John 20:1;

Because of this we have confident expectation as we await our turn to be resurrected. 1Thes 4:13-18; 1Cor 15:20-26;

Paul's desire was to come to know and teach believers about the power that raised Jesus from the dead. Phil 3:10a and to learn to live in it because it is the enabling power of God that is made freely available to every Church Age believer.

1. The omnipotence of God the Father, that makes available our portfolio of invisible assets, through which, the believer fulfills the PPOG. Eph 1:3

2. The omnipotence of God the Son, that preserves and perpetuates human history. Col 1:16-17, Heb 1:3

Through His power TLJC controls the universe, PSA 103:19, the physical world, Matt 5:45, the affairs of nations, Psa 66:7, man's birth and destiny, Gal 1:15, man's successes and failures, Luk 1:52, and provides protection for His people, Psa 4:8.

3. The omnipotence of God the Holy Spirit who indwells the believer's body making it a shrine for the glory of Christ to reside and enable the believer's residence, function, and momentum inside God's unique power system for the Church Age believer. Gal 5:16; Col 1:27;

The divine omnipotence that is provided inside the Divine dynasphere during the Church Age is the basis for believers learning to have occupation with the person of Christ who pioneered and perfected it. Heb 12:2; results in believers becoming tactical victors in the angelic conflict, Rev 3:21;

Because God is perfect, Deut 32:4 God's perfect plan provides God's perfect power for imperfect mankind Phil 2:13.

The power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is the same power which is available to every believer in the Church Age for function in the plan of God, and is the same power that will resurrect every Church Age believer at the exit resurrection of the Church. Eph 1:19-20, 1Cor 15:51-53;

The ten problem solving devices are the means of the acquisition and the deployment of the omnipotent power of our Lord's resurrection. The problem solving devices are therefore infinitely greater than any human or cosmic solutions that are available.

When Phil 3:10; says, "that I may come to know Him, and the power of His resurrection," it means that we first begin to know this mighty power of His resurrection and ascension when we understand from the PMA of Bible Doctrine our position in union with our Lord who has risen and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.

Before there can be resurrection there must be death. Rom 6:5, Eph 2:5, Phil 2:8-9; Col 3:3-4; 1Cor 15:54-57;

It is the will of God that we come to know and live in the fact that we are new creatures in Christ Jesus by the power of His resurrection. Phil 3:10-11;

This is only possible through consistent PMA of the Mystery Doctrine of the Church Age. As our mentor teacher, the Holy Spirit makes this truth understandable to us while we are in a position of experiential weakness on this earth. 2Cor 4:7; to the glory of God. Rom 5:2;

As we appropriate and live in this reality through faith we grow spiritually because we are abiding in Him as he sits at the right hand of the Father, and He abides and manifests Himself in us as we apply is word during our life on the earth.

We are coming to know that power as we grow spiritually in time while we wait to know His power in our resurrection bodies. 1Cor 15:50-53

This resurrection power is brought to completion or perfected in us in time as we live in it instead of our own strength and ability moment by moment. 2Cor 12:9-10;

TLJC lives because of the omnipotent power of God and we live in that same power. 2Cor 13:4;

The power of our Lord's resurrection is made available to us through the filling of the Spirit and the metabolized doctrine that is circulating in our stream of consciousness.

God has taken us, totally depraved individuals who were enslaved to sin from birth Rom 6:17, rescued us from darkness Col 1:13, into light 1Pet 2:9 given eternal life, 1John 5:11-12; and perfect righteousness, 2Cor 5:21; made us His children, Rom 8:16; sanctified us, 1Cor 1:2; made us priests, 1 Pet 2:9; and royalty as members of His body. Eph 3:6;

In the same way that we were identified with his death in retroactive positional truth we are identified with him in his resurrection so we can walk in new life. Rom 6:4.

God the Holy Spirit gives us the ability to understand and utilize the power of our Lord's resurrection and this results in the ability to handle the challenges of life with complete happiness and contentment Phil 4:4, 1Thes 5:16;

We participate with TLJC in tactical victory in the angelic conflict through spiritual warfare. Eph 6:10. and endure the suffering associated with that warfare with complete happiness and contentment as he did on the cross. Heb 12:2

So as we celebrate our Lord's resurrection today let's be strong in the Lord in the power of his might by living in the power that he deployed under the greatest of all pressure and then transferred to us to the glory of God. 1Pet 1:3;
