In our study of the doctrine of freedom. John 8:32: Gal 5:1; We have noted that positive volition to any aspect of God's Word of truth creates freedom because God imputes grace through the divine decree to bless positive volition to truth and discipline negative volition to truth. Lam 3:21-23; James 4:6;
We noted that positive volition to divine establishment truth provides for temporal human freedom, positive volition toward the truth of the Gospel creates spiritual freedom and positive volition to the truth of Bible Doctrine creates experiential spiritual freedom and spiritual advance.
We see from this that establishment truth is what establishes freedom within the national entity in the midst of the chaos of the devil's world.
Under the principles of divine establishment every person has free volition so they have the right to be wrong but when their negative volition metastases to the point they meddle with and violate the God given freedom, privacy or property of others their free negative volition becomes criminal.
The internal enemy of freedom in the national entity is criminality and the external enemy of freedom in the national entity is criminal nations operating in power lust.
Free nations lose their internal freedom to criminals as the citizens reject truth and refuse or neglect to defend it because of negative volition to truth. This loss of freedom occurs incrementally in cycles until the nation is weakened to the point where predator nations can attack and left unanswered defeat the previously free nation in warfare.
Since truth is the sine que non of freedom and happiness as the pivot of believers who hold the line with virtue and integrity from truth declines so do freedom and happiness.
As truth is replaced with the lies of satan's cosmic system freedom and happiness are replaced by unhappiness, tyranny, disaster and war and if left unchecked total destruction.
Without the pastor-teacher communicating the mystery doctrine for the Church Age there can be no pivot established or maintained. There can be no pivot without the manufacture of invisible heroes who have the truth of the thinking of Jesus Christ circulating in their stream of consciousness.
The main reason client nations to God fail is that the freedom that is established by the positive volition of the founders of the nation to truth is rejected by subsequent generations who forget the true source of their freedom and prosperity is God's Word of truth.
The generations that reject truth use their freedom to reject the very truth that is the source of their freedom and then proceed to misuse their freedom as a cloak for doing evil.
Peter warned of this in 1Pet 2:16; this is what has happened in our nation. The equal protection clause of the 14th amendment has been inverted by the evil "justices" in the judicial system and is being misused as a means of promoting the evil of immoral behavior and deviant lifestyles in the name of freedom and equality.
This misuse of the God given freedom that comes from Christianity will not be left unpunished. Deut 32:35-36; and God will use us as an example of bad behavior. 2Cor 13:8;
Last time we noted that God administers the cycles of discipline on client nations when they misuse their freedom and prosperity reject the truth that created their freedom and prosperity and become chronic purveyors of evil. Jer 5:1-6;
We noted God's warning to the Northern Kingdom of Israel that is recorded in Hosea 4:1-6;
The passage is addressed to believers because it is believers with positive volition to truth who formed the pivot that became the basis for the client nation and in a later generation it is believers with negative volition to truth who spin off from the pivot who are responsible for fall of the client nation.
Hosea 4:1; "Listen to the word of the Lord, you citizens of Israel (Northern Kingdom) because the Lord has a case (indictment) against the inhabitants of the client nation, because nothing of doctrine is taught, nothing about grace is being applied; there is no knowledge of God in the land."
Just as God had an indictment against the Jewish client nations, today He has an indictment against the United States of America as a Gentile client nation.
"Because nothing of doctrine is taught." There is no demand for Bible teaching in a time of apostasy because of negative volition. As a result, "nothing of grace is being applied." Grace and doctrinal truth go together.
When truth is rejected the lie that replaces truth sucks in the cycles of discipline into the vacuum that is created when the truth is rejected. Hosea 8:7;
Hosea 4:2; "Instead, there is swearing (dishonesty), deception, homicide, stealing, and adultery, therefore "blood touches blood" (an idiom for perpetual violence)."
Hosea 4:3; "Therefore, the land mourns, and all who live in it languish along with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air."
"The land mourns" means the people are miserable because they have no capacity for happiness because they have rejected truth that creates capacity for happiness.
Nothing is satisfying in life. Happiness from social life, business life, and spiritual life does not satisfy so there is nothing but a frantic search for happiness that cannot be attained because of the rejection of truth that is the precursor of happiness.
"All who live in it languish," means loss of national courage, patriotism, vitality, and strength. When people suffer animals also suffer because some people become viciously cruel when living under unrestrained OSN control of the soul.
Hosea 4:4; "Let no one accuse or blame others (as in crusader arrogance and the evil of activism); you are like those who argue with and reject the authority of the priests (communicators of truth)."
Finding fault or accusation refers to blaming others for your problems rather and taking personal responsibility for them. Believers must take personal responsibility for their own choices because it is their negative volition that is creating a shrinking pivot that causes their self induced adversity and unhappiness.
Those who reject the truth that is being communicated are personally responsible for their own negative volition. Isa 5:20-23;
Hosea 4:5; "You stumble by day and night and the false prophets stumble with you I will destroy your native country (motherland).
"Stumbling by day," means involvement in the lies of satanic thinking, including crusader arrogance. Daylight means becoming a loser by rejecting God's Word of truth after hearing it, or failing to apply truth that is presented because of unbelief from negative volition.
"And even the prophet will stumble with you" means prophets become false prophets and make things worse by teaching lies.
Today, thousands of pastors speak of "`peace and prosperity,' but there is no peace and prosperity," just as they did in Jeremiah's day, Jer 6:14; Jer 8:11; Ezek 13:10, 16;
Today, pastors peddle false doctrines including the lies of social justice, economic equality and other human good evil that is based in the false doctrine of reformation or liberation theology while the United States continues to decline because there is so little truth being taught that no pivot is being formed.
Hosea 4:6; "My people are destroyed by lack of knowledge of doctrine. Because you have rejected the knowledge of doctrine, I will reject you from being My priest nation."
