God's Word teaches the believer that God has created systems of legitimate authority that are designed to regulate both spiritual and temporal life for the purpose of establishing and maintaining the freedom that is necessary for spiritual advance under God's grace policy.
Believers who become winners have positive volition to God's Word with the result that they respect and submit to the legitimate authorities that God has established under the principles of enforced and genuine humility. 1Pet 5:5-7;
Enforced humility is when you comply because you have to whither you understand or not. Genuine humility is when you comply because you understand God's plan for your life and you want to comply because you do understand. Matt 16:21-23;
This is what Jesus did when He submitted to God the Father in His unglorified humanity. Luke 22:42;
If you have humility no matter who you are you have objectivity and as a result you have to capacity to function in positional freedom and learn God's Word in order to acquire experiential freedom. Gal 5:1; 2Cor 10:5;
Believers who prioritize the perception, metabolization, and application of God's Word of truth develop momentum in the spiritual life from the doctrine they learn.
All basic momentum in the Christian's spiritual life comes from the perception and application of truth ( Bible doctrine). God the Holy Spirit teaches God's Word to the believer and that spirit taught or epignosis doctrine in the believer's thinking results in the believer developing confidence in God (hope).
Hope or confidence in God establishes the believer's spiritual self-esteem becomes the basis for spiritual adulthood where is personal love for God becomes a major source of motivational virtue in life.
Spiritual self-esteem develops capacity for integrity love that results in the believer's transition from spiritual childhood into spiritual adulthood.
The believer with personal love for God develops capacity for impersonal love for all mankind. This becomes the basis for spiritual autonomy that is the second stage of spiritual adulthood. This is where the believer develops functional virtue in life.
God permits the believer to encounter various categories of momentum testing in the devil's world so they will develop additional momentum in God's power system. The four categories of momentum testing that God permits are people testing, system testing, thought testing, and disaster testing.
