Heb 4:12; The doctrine of doctrinal orientation part 1

Lam 3:21-25; I recall this (God's Word of truth) to my mind, and it gives me confidence. Because The Lord's mercy never fails; His grace provisions never cease, they are renewed every morning; Great is Your faithfulness... I therefore have hope in Him. The Lord is good to those who wait silently on Him.

We are presently in a study of the doctrine of winner believers Heb 12:2; Rev 2:7; who are the unknown, unsung heroes of history as God's witnesses in the prosecution of satan and the fallen angels. 2Cor 6:9; and who are the targets of God's grace imputations and one of the reason why God continues to support the human race in the evil adversity of the devil's world. 2Pet 3:9;

God's Word creates capacity for the winner to trust in God to work on their behalf. Doctrinal viewpoint is what enables the winner to wait on the timing of God. Isa 40:31;

We have been noting the categories of grace that are parlayed during the winner's spiritual advance. The reason the grace advance is possible is because of their recall of and complete trust in God's Word of truth under the principle that the only way to understand God and His grace policy is by understanding His Word of truth.

Winners understand that God's Word of truth is immutable because it is how God discloses His divine decree to mankind. The winner knows that God's Word has to be true because God cannot lie.

We describe this viewpoint that is based in God's Word of truth as doctrinal orientation so this brings us to a study of the doctrine of doctrinal orientation.
Doctrinal orientation Is established when the believer believes what God's Word aka Bible Doctrine reveals and it begins to circulate in the believer's stream of consciousness and become the basis for their decision making process.

Heb 4:12; "For the word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to separate the soul and the spirit, both joints and marrow, able to evaluate the thoughts and the motivations of the heart."

The ten problem solving devices are extrapolated from the spirit taught or epignosis doctrine that is circulating in the stream of consciousness. One of those problem-solving devices is metabolized doctrine that becomes the basis for doctrinal orientation.

The Scripture is basis for understanding all information with regard to our spiritual life. Bible doctrine is always powerful, even when we are weak and it exists forever. Matt 24:35; because it is God. John 1:1-3;

There is no substitute for Bible doctrine circulating in the stream of consciousness because God's Word is the sine que non of the spiritual life. John 6:63;

In Eph 6:17; Paul describes God's Word as the 'sword of the Spirit" because God the Holy Spirit uses God's Word as a sword to penetrate into mankind's stream of consciousness.

The word translated "sword is "machaira." The "machaira" was an eighteen-inch double-edged sword that the Roman army used. It was a weapon that that Roman soldier could wield without losing his balance and it was short enough that it could be wielded even when the soldier had become off balance from the pressures of engaging the adversaries in battle.

The opposing armies generally used longer single edged swords that could cause imbalance when wielded and most of them were single edged so they could only cut in one direction. The two-edged "macharia" cut in both directions and it was pointed so it could also be thrust.

The Roman soldier had the greatest weapon in the ancient world so Paul used it to describe God's Word or Bible doctrine circulating in the stream of consciousness that is the power of God and the offensive weapon of the spirit filled believer. Rom 1:16;

Adversities and pressures in life will cause the believer lose their balance in the spiritual life but even when losing their balance believers can engage the battle with God's Word. 1John 1:9;

God the Holy Spirit penetrates into and cuts between the thoughts and intents of the human soul and the human spirit with God's Word of truth. Under the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit every believer has equal ability use God's Word for discernment, understanding and motivation.

God's Word evaluates the thoughts and motives of the believer's stream of consciousness. Believer's who have Bible doctrine in their thinking can evaluate their own thoughts, motivations and intentions.

Phil 2:13; "For God has been and still is the One who perpetually works for your benefit, both to will and to function in compliance with His directive will."

As we have noted God has been at work on your behalf from eternity past providing your very own portfolio of invisible assets. God is still at work in you in time by providing His infallible Word and the spiritual skills to deploy it.

God has and still works for us through the divine initiative of antecedent grace in time and eternity. Only through knowledge of Bible doctrine can we learn to function in compliance with God's directive will. God's Word is designed to make us effective in execution of God's will, plan, and purpose for our lives.

God's directive will is for every believer to be consistent with the function of the spiritual skills, so they can execute the protocol plan of God and glorify God by becoming invisible heroes.

This objective demands the consistent function of the spiritual skills, the deployment of the ten problem solving devices in the stream of consciousness line, and requires the formation and deployment of a standard of reference or viewpoint of thinking from orientation to God's Word of truth. Rom 12:3;
