Gal 5:1; It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

In our recent study we have been noting the consequences of the rejection of Bible Doctrine aka God's Word of truth as the basis for one's thoughts, decisions and actions. Last time we started a summary of our study of doctrinal orientation with a review of the importance of doctrine as a conclusion to our study.

We noted that doctrine is important because it is how God reveals to us everything that he wants us to know. Doctrine is the basis for our relationship with God and comprises all true worship and praise.

This is why without doctrine it is impossible to please God. Heb 11:6; and it is why God prioritizes His Word above everything else.

Once the believer has enough doctrine to understand God's unfailing integrity love that is the basis of His grace policy they possess enough doctrine to praise Him.

This why it is impossible to understand or to please God without doctrine. Heb 11:6; Without doctrine no person has any capacity to know anything about God.

The believer's highest priority in life must be bible doctrine. When we understand what God is communicating to us and solving the problems we face via His Word we are motivated to worship and praise Him. John 4:22-24; Rev 7:11-12;

Doctrinal teaching is the only way anyone can understand the essence and integrity of God. This is why God magnifies doctrinal teaching above everything including His own person.

The only way doctrine can be acquired is by receiving its communication by means of or through the Word of Christ. Rom 10:17; John 1:1-4,14; Heb 1:1-2;

Because of His grace policy God is glorified when he conveys our escrow blessings to us. He cannot do this without violating His integrity until we have the spiritual capacity to recognize and appreciate the true Source of those blessings.

That appreciation comes our understanding of Bible doctrine that becomes our viewpoint when it is resident and circulating in our thinking. We must develop Doctrinal viewpoint to please God.

Prov 8:33-36; tells us that both the good of God's Word of truth and the evil of satan's lies preexisted us.

v33"Heed Bible teaching, become wise, do not neglect it. Happiness to the man who listens to me,

v34 watching daily at my gates, waiting at my doors.

v35 He who finds me (Bible doctrine) finds capacity for life and obtains grace blessing from the Lord. But he who sins against me injures himself.

v36 All those who hate me love death." Net note 69

We see from this that the truth contained in God's Word and the evils contained in satan's cosmic lie were both here before we came and both of them will still be here after we leave.

They will both be operational until after the great white throne judgment where satan's lie will be totally debunked and cast along with satan into the lake of fire with all of his followers.

We cannot change God's Word or satan's lie, we can only choose one or the other and the one we choose to believe and live in accord with will determine our destiny in time and eternity. Deut 30:19;

The believer's attitude toward doctrine is what determines whether they will be blessed or disciplined in time, Prov 8:33-36;

This means that the issue in life is our volition toward God's Word of truth or satan's lie and the one we choose becomes the basis of our thoughts, decisions and actions.

Doctrine is the basis for the distribution of escrow blessings in time, Isa 53:12. "Therefore, I (God the Father) will distribute the plunder of victory to Him (Jesus Christ) because of the many (royal family); then He will distribute the plunder of victory to the great ones (mature believers) because He willingly poured out His soul life to death..."

Doctrine is also the basis for the distribution of escrow blessings for eternity, Heb 11:9-10; Heb 11:13; James 1:25; James 2:12-13; 1Cor 3:10-15;
