Matt 10:34-36; Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. "For I came to SET A MAN AGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTER AGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW; and A MAN'S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD.
We are in a study of Satan's cosmic system that is a system of thinking that is the basis of the thinking of the entire human race that is comprised of lies and deceit in their natural soulish state apart from God in the darkness of spiritual death in the cosmic system. 1Cor 2:14;
Last time we noted that the only way to escape from satan's cosmic system is through rebound and the subsequent execution of the protocol plan of God because that is the only way that the tragic flaw of arrogance can be defeated.
This means that the recovery process can take awhile especially for those who have been developing their tragic flaw of arrogance by living inside cosmic one for years.
In the grenade analogy, arrogance is the pin in the grenade. The arrogant person uses their volition to in pull the pin of the grenade by reacting to some temptation with an arrogant decision that result in committing personal sin.
The sin nature cannot make you sin; it is simply a source of temptation. The sin nature has an area of strength and an area of weakness. You are tempted from your area of weakness, not from your area of strength.
The sin nature also has two antithetical trends, one toward legalism and the other toward lasciviousness. These two reactor factors become a part of the temptation.
Because every believer has a sin nature every believer is a walking grenade but only the believer's volition can pull the pin because while the sin nature is the source of temptation the volition is only source of sin.
Being tempted is not a sin. Only when volition succumbs to temptation and chooses to violate the principles of God's Word of truth is there sin that results in cosmic involvement.
There are two kinds of sins, the sins of cognizance are those sins that we know are sins and we use our volition to choose to do it anyway, the sins of ignorance are sins we do not know are sins, but if we do choose to do it we are still responsible because the source of sin is the volition.
Every person has the potential to become a walking grenade because of the genetically formed OSN. The pin of the grenade is the arrogance complex. When arrogance pulls the pin the person's is life is fragmented.
The pin is pulled by the decision to function in any of the following: jealousy, bitterness, hatred, resentment, implacability, vindictiveness, self-pity, self-righteous arrogance, hypersensitivity, guilt reaction, motivational revenge, functional revenge...
... Conspiracy, slander, maligning, gossip, making others villains when we are responsible or blaming other people for things for which we are responsible because of our self-centeredness, egotism, and, self-conceit.
In other words, whenever we become totally preoccupied with our self to exclusion of God's plan, purpose, and will for our life.
We see from this that the believer actually frags himself by using his own volition to pull the pin by committing these types of mental attitude sins, at which point the grenade fragments destroying the spiritual life.
We rush toward our area of weakness and toward whatever the active trend that our old sin nature is leaning toward at that moment.
The result is a fragmented life in one of two categories depending on the OSN's trend the person enters the trend toward the arrogant self-righteous ritualism and legalism of cosmic one or the trend toward the emotionalism and lasciviousness of cosmic one.
The trend toward self-righteousness and legalism results in moral degeneracy. The trend toward lasciviousness emotionalism results in immoral degeneracy. The fragmentation includes the function of grieving the Holy Spirit.
2Tim 3:2-7; is the story of the person who has pulled the arrogance pin of the grenade and is suffering the consequences of living the fragmented life inside cosmic one.
v2 "For persons (including some Church Age believers) will be lovers of self (in cosmic one, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers (abusive), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy (wicked),
v3 without love (virtue-love), implacable (unforgiving), slanderous, without self-control, brutal, haters of those who do good,
v4 treacherous, thoughtless (rash), being puffed up or conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
v5 having an overt appearance (outward form) of godliness (spirituality), although they have denied its power (omnipotence of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), avoid these people.
2Tim 3:6; For among them are those who creep (sneak their way) into homes (local assemblies) and captivate (gain control over) weak-willed women (emotional people) who are loaded down with sins (sin makes people easy to manipulate through guilt or fear), led on by many kinds of emotional lust patterns from the OSN, (guilt, fear, worry, anxiety, etc)
v7 who are always learning but never able to develop epignosis knowledge (an accurate understanding) of the truth."
