Rom 1:28; since they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,

Isa 5:20; Woe to those who call evil good and good evil...

2Cor 11:12-14; they became false representatives, evil deceitful people, who disguise themselves as representing truth.

v14; And no wonder, for even Satan (the liar) disguises himself as a messenger of truth.

v15; Therefore it is not surprising his people also disguise themselves as righteous people but their end will correspond to their works.

We are presently in a study of satan's cosmic system that is a system of arrogant demonic thinking that is comprised of the lies and deceit from demonic viewpoint that since the fall in the Garden of Eden, apart from God in the darkness of spiritual death that has become the basis of the thinking of the entire human race. 1Cor 2:14; Rev 12:9;

Last time we noted James 3:14-16; where James uses "wisdom" facetiously to describe arrogance that believes it has a wise, smart, and accurate analysis of the situation when it actually does not because of its inverted frame of reference from fake news.

He describes this pseudo-wisdom as earthly, referring to demon influence of false doctrine. It is natural, referring to human viewpoint and psychological living. It is demonic, referring to demon possession of the body or demon influence of the soul.

We noted that the human body or the human soul can be demonized. The body is demonized when demons invade the body of the unbeliever. This can only occur in the unbeliever and is described as demon possession.

The human soul can also be is demonized. This occurs when doctrines of demons inculcate the soul and personality of the person who can be either a believer or an unbeliever. This is described as demon influence.

When believers have arrogant lust for success, promotion and power their lust destroys any true scale of values related to humility from Bible doctrine so they become very susceptible to demonic influence.

Motivational arrogance results in evil human "good works" that are produced inside the cosmic system where for the believer it becomes the "wood, hay and straw" of "dead works" that are burned up when our Lord Jesus Christ personally evaluates the believer. 1Cor 3:12-15;

Unbelievers can only produce "dead works" so for the unbeliever these same kinds of evil human "good works" are the basis for their consignment into the lake of fire along with their father the devil the source of all dead evil human "good works". Rev 20:12-15;

In James 3:16; The word translated "disorder" refers to detonation and fragmentation because arrogance has pulled the pin in the grenade resulting in disorder and confusion in thought, motivation, and action.

Once the arrogant detonation occurs there is "every evil situation," a description of living inside of satan's cosmic system in the status of cosmic one.

No one can function as a pastor-teacher while fragmented with arrogance. Recent converts often become fragmentation very easily.

This is why 1Tim 3:6; that lists some of the requirements of the pastor states that he is not to be "a new convert so that he will not become arrogant and be blinded with the result that he falls into the devil's judgment (condemnation)."

1Tim 6:3-4; "If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not concur with sound doctrine, those doctrines from our Lord Jesus Christ, even the doctrine pertaining to godliness (life in God's spiritual power system),

v4 he has become blinded by arrogance to the point where he understands nothing. Furthermore, he has become morbid from preoccupation with controversies and arguments that cause envy, slander, and evil suspicions."

If you reject Bible doctrine, you are automatically arrogant so when you are arrogant, you understand nothing even though you think you understand everything.

He has "become sick from being preoccupied with controversies" because arrogant people are always striving to prove they are smarter, better and more informed.

One of the easiest ways to identify arrogance is envy because if you are envious you are arrogant because you have no grace orientation.

Bitterness is a pin in the arrogance grenade that is often pulled when there is a lack of grace orientation. Heb 12:15; "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God, that no root of bitterness springs up and causes you trouble, and by it many are defiled."

One person who fragments can cause a chain reaction because when fragmentation occurs others react to the fragmentation.

The fragmented life is taught in Eph 4:14; "With the result that we are no longer to be childish (fragmented), destabilized in heavy seas and driven out of control (fragmentation) by every wind of false teaching, by the trickery of false people with fake news who deploy cunning deception for the purpose of deceitful scheming." Net note 19

Bitterness also triggers other arrogance factors. Eph 4:31; "Let all bitterness, both anger (emotional sin) and wrath (mental attitude sin), both quarreling and slander, be removed from you, along with all malice."

Malice refers to motivation from envy, hatred, bitterness, anger, vindictiveness, or implacability that seeks vengeance on others by using criminal acts to inflict injury on someone causing them to suffer.

Believers must never forget that vengeance is above their pay grade. Rom 12:18-21; Deut 32:35-36; Isa 40:31;
