We are presently in a study of satan's cosmic system that is a system of arrogant demonic thinking that is comprised of the lies and deceit from demonic viewpoint that since the fall in the Garden of Eden, separated from God in the darkness of spiritual death has become the basis of the thinking of the entire human race. 1Cor 2:14; Rev 12:9;
When we stopped last time we were discussing immorality or sexual arrogance.
This category of arrogance involves sex that involves total preoccupation with self and disregards every factor of virtue or consideration of others. It includes but is not limited to illegitimate sex or sex outside of marriage.
Sexual arrogance belongs to those who are classified in 2Tim 3:4; as "lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God." There's nothing wrong with pleasure, but when you put pleasure ahead of God your volition has created a problem.
God designed sex in the human race to be an expression of love in marriage, as one of the many manifestations of love between a husband and wife. Therefore, sex is designed for conjugal relationship.
Sex is not solely designed for reproduction it was designed to be to be an expression of love between one man and one woman so this makes sexual arrogance ritual without reality.
Sexual arrogance precludes love as a motive for sex, for the arrogance of immorality divorces this expression of love from honor and integrity. The result is one more step toward unreality and lies of the cosmic system.
Arrogance includes abnormal preoccupation with self so sexual arrogance is a product of the self-gratifying trend of the OSN that causes one to be lascivious. Lasciviousness is a trend in the old sin nature that seeks self- gratification in some form of sexual activity.
When linked with arrogance, this produces three categories of sexual arrogance. Normal sexual arrogance includes adultery and fornication. Adultery is voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone else other than his or her spouse.
Fornication is voluntary sexual intercourse between two unmarried persons.
Abnormal sexual arrogance occurs in at least four categories. Masturbation is sexual self-gratification. Homosexuality is sexual activity with a person or persons of the same sex including lesbianism that is homosexual activity between women.
Incest is sexual intercourse between members of the same family and Voyeurism is sexual gratification while watching others engage in sex.
Criminal sexual arrogance also includes at least four categories including rape that involves forcing a person to have sex against their will, pederasty that is when an adult male has sex with boys or molests children, necrophilia is erotic attraction to a corpse or having sex with a corpse and bestiality is sexual relationship between a human being and an animal.
The OSN trend toward lasciviousness seeks self- gratification in some form of sexual activity, that becomes the arrogance of immorality that occurs in sexual arrogance.
Without capacity for love from Bible doctrine, sexual arrogance can only be an expression of lust, pseudo-love, self- gratification, sinfulness, and in some cases in the case of the function of the phallic cult, demonism.
This is why sexual arrogance is mentioned in so many passages in Corinthians and Galatians where believers are warned against participating in the ritual sex and demonism of the phallic cult associates with the pagan temple worship that was rampant at the time. Gal 5:19-20; 1Cor 6:15-20;
Polygamy and promiscuity destroy capacity for love, for life, for happiness and the spiritual life. This is why the Word of God forbids adultery, fornication, and other related things such as pederasty, incest, masturbation, or bestiality.
God is not trying to deprive you of fun; God is trying to give you happiness, and God knows that you will never be happy under any system of sexual arrogance because it destroys your capacities.
Sexual arrogance does not mean loss of salvation but it does mean loss of fellowship until it is acknowledged to God as a sin. 1John 1:9; Gal 5:16;
We see from this that sex can be a great blessing or a distraction. Sex can only be a blessing as an expression of love between a man and a woman who are married. Sex is a distraction when it is an expression of arrogance in the deviance of polygamy, promiscuity, fornication, homosexuality, incest, bestiality, etc.
Sexual arrogance in the woman can manifest itself through seduction of important persons such as, Cleopatra's seduction of Caesar, Messalina's seduction of Claudius, or the famous Aspasia of fifth century B.C. Athens who seduced Pericles.
Sexual arrogance in the woman relates to the number and importance of her conquests. Her flirtatious attitude is designed to receive approbation from flattery and to stimulate her arrogance.
Male sexual arrogance includes a harem or a multiplicity of seductions. As degeneracy increases, this might go to other things. Rape is a criminal extension of this kind of deviant sexual activity.
Once in the arrogance complex, more kinds of deviant sexual practices can and will develop as sexual arrogance interacts with criminal arrogance, psychopathic arrogance, or impulsive arrogance such as when someone in authority abuses their authority to have sex.
Example of this include incest that combines sexual arrogance with impulsive arrogance as a parent, rape that combines sexual arrogance with criminal arrogance, and promiscuity that combines sexual arrogance with blind arrogance.
