Rev 21:9-16; Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, "Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
11 having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper.
12 It had a great and high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel.
13 There were three gates on the east and three gates on the north and three gates on the south and three gates on the west.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 The one who spoke with me had a gold measuring rod to measure the city, and its gates and its wall.
16 The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the rod, fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal.
We are in a study of satan's cosmic system, a system of arrogant demonic thinking that is comprised of lies and deceit from demonic viewpoint that since the fall in the Garden of Eden, separated from God in the darkness of spiritual death has become the viewpoint of the entire human race. 1Cor 2:14; Rev 12:9;
At this point in our study we are looking at satan's cosmic 2 system where irrationality, disillusionment and discontent from living in cosmic 1 arrogance metastasizes into hatred, hostility, and antagonism toward God, God's people, God's policy and God's plan.
When we stopped last time we had noted that cognition of Bible doctrine and the spiritual renovation that results from thinking doctrine can only occur when the believer resides in God's spiritual power system under the filling of the Holy Spirit, who is the teacher of all doctrine, John 14:26; John 16:12-14; 1 John 2:27; 1Cor 2:9-16; where we were at verse 10.
The desire for truth and the motivation to learn Bible doctrine can only exist when the believer is living inside God's spiritual power system. God transfers every believer into His spiritual power system at the point of salvation when the believer is filled with the Holy Spirit. 1Pet 2:9-10;
The exclusive place for the execution of God's plan for the believer is inside of God's spiritual power system. It is only possible for the believer to have access to God's omnipotent resources when functioning under the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit.
The believer's function under the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit is maintained when the believer lives their life on the basis of applied doctrine. Heb 10:38-39;
When not filled with the spirit the believer resides in one of the two categories of satan's cosmic system. In cosmic one the believer is indifferent to doctrine because of arrogance and wrong priorities in life.
In cosmic two the believer is antagonistic toward doctrine because of carnality, scar tissue of the soul, blackout of the soul and the progressive stages of reversionism .
The negative volition of the unbeliever can be classified as negative volition to God at God-consciousness, Rom 1:18-20; and negative volition to Jesus Christ at Gospel hearing, 2Cor 4:3-4;
