John 15:18-25; "If the cosmic system hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.
v19 "If you were of the cosmic system, the cosmic system would love its own; but because you are not of the cosmic system, but I chose you out of the cosmic system, because of this the cosmic system hates you.
v20 "Remember the word that I said to you, 'A slave is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
v21 "But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me.
v22 "If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin.
v23 "He who hates Me hates My Father also.
v24 "If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well.
v25 "But they have done this to fulfill the word that is written in their Law, 'They hated Me without a cause.'
We are engaged in a study of satan's cosmic system, a system of arrogant demonic thinking that is comprised of lies and deceit from demonic viewpoint that since the fall in the Garden of Eden, separated from God in the darkness of spiritual death has become the viewpoint and basis for all conflict in the human race.
At this point in our study we are looking at satan's cosmic 2 system where irrationality, disillusionment and discontent from cosmic 1 arrogance metastasizes into hatred, hostility, antagonism and opposition to God, God's people, God's policy and God's plan. 1Cor 2:14; Rev 12:9;
Last time we started a discussion on demon possession as a category of hatred for God in cosmic two. We noted that both believer and unbeliever are vulnerable to demon influence from demonic assault on the thinking of the soul in the cosmic system, the born-again believer cannot be demon possessed.
For demon influence or possession to occur, the person must be functioning inside satan's cosmic system. There cannot be demon influence or possession apart from human consent that is made from position of weakness.
Of the five demon attacks on the human race, the most devastating and successful is satan's ability to project demon doctrines directly into the thinking of the human soul through the channel created when a person is functioning under unrestrained control of the OSN.
Demons are capable of two categories of violence. A disembodied demon cannot directly attack a human being. Any attack must come indirectly from another human being who is functioning under demon possession or influence. This is seen in all crime, revolutionary violence, terrorism, the function of religious cults, and idolatry.
Much more common is demon influence from the cosmic system that is the source of most of the violence people encounter. This includes jealousy, anger, hatred, and implacability along with other forms of emotional arrogance that motivates violence.
The support of evil policies in the world by the World and National Councils of Churches and the United Nations and other non-governmental cosmic organizations is an illustration of demon influence.
Direct violence is a phenomenon reserved for unrestrained demonic activity during the last half of the Tribulation where the demon forces include demon assault armies that are released from the Abyss that are described in Revelation 9.
Believers get into demonism when they consistently make bad decisions from a position of weakness. All decisions made in the cosmic system and those made to enter the cosmic system are bad decisions made from a position of weakness.
When a person is in the cosmic system there are only two decisions that can be made from a position of strength and both are empowered by God the Holy Spirit and related to Jesus Christ and God's grace policy.
