We are presently in a study of the doctrine of evil that is the product of believing the false narrative of the public lie that satan, the god of this world, fabricates and raises up in opposition to truth and righteousness that are the product of believing the Person and Word of the Living God of the universe.
Last time we noted that satan seeks to redirect the believer's focus by getting them occupied with other people, on themselves in self-pity, or on things by influencing the believer to think that God's logistical grace is insufficient instead of being completely focused on Jesus Christ and His Word of Truth. Eph 2:1-7;
Satan uses the believer's arrogance to keep them functioning in his cosmic system. His system is designed to distract believers with entertainment, improving the world with crusader arrogance, occupation with temporal solutions to man's problems, social action, the welfare state, socialist and communist economic policies, fear, and religion.
Satan presents religion with its idolatry and human good works as a counterfeit God's plan of grace and truth.
Satan uses religious idolatry to deceive man into thinking that his human good works are pleasing to God. Satan uses religion to counterfeit every aspect of God's grace plan with doing good in the devil's world.
Satan counterfeits the Gospel, 2Cor 4:3-4; has his own communicators, 2Cor 11:13-15; doctrine, 2Tim 4:3-4; the communion table,1Cor 10:19-21; a counterfeit spirituality, Gal 3:2-3; righteousness, Matt 19:16-28; the power and dynamics of the spiritual power system, 2Thes 2:8-10; He has counterfeit gods, 2Thes 2:3-4; and his cosmic system has counterfeit works, Matt 23:13-26.;
