Hosea 4:1-6; Listen to the word of the Lord, O sons of Israel, For the Lord has a case against the inhabitants of the country, Because there is no faithfulness or kindness Or knowledge of God in the country.
2 There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing and adultery. They employ violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed.
3 Therefore the country mourns, And everyone who lives in it languishes Along with the beasts of the field and the birds of the sky, And also the fish of the sea disappear.
4 Yet let no one find fault, and let none offer reproof; For your people are like those who contend with the priest.
5 So you will stumble by day, And the prophet also will stumble with you by night; And I will destroy your country.
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
Hosea 8:7 For they sow the wind And they reap the whirlwind...
Gen 18:32; Then he said, "Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this once; suppose ten are found there?" And He said, "I will not destroy it on account of the ten."
Based on our president's 39% approval rating there are at least 120 Million people with at least some Divine establishment viewpoint in the USA.
Our nation is divided between anti establishment demonic viewpoint criminality and Divine establishment viewpoint integrity the destiny of the nation will be determined by the side that wins. None of this is new. It has been raging since satan's rebellion against God.
Joshua and the nation of Israel faced this same issue in Joshua 24:15;"If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
I believe that God is in the process of removing the cancer that is destroying our nation in order to preserve it. Before the cancer can be removed it must be identified. The Russia hoax, the hoax response to the China virus pandemic and the rioting criminals are clearly identifying where the cancer resides.
The opportunity to root out the cancer occurs on Nov 3, 2020. That will be the date that our nation makes the decision regarding who it will serve and if the nation will survive.
We are presently in a study of the doctrine of evil that is the product of believing the false narrative of the public lie that satan, the god of this world, fabricates and asserts in his war against truth and righteousness. Eph 6:12; 2Cor 10:5;
Last time we noted that if criminality is not removed by the legitimate justice system of a nation Jesus Christ will discipline the entire nation for their failure. This national disaster can come in several different ways. 2Chron 7:13;
Isa 13:11; "Thus I will punish the world for its evil. I will also put an end to the arrogance of the proud, and destroy the pride of the tyrant." Isa 47:10-11;
Humility and respect for legitimate authority is the only limitation on crime.
Micah 1:12; teaches that failure to properly deal with evil leads to destruction of the nation. Amos 5:14-15, "Hate evil, love good, and establish justice in the court; consequently, the Lord God of the armies will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph."
In Jer 28:8 evil is distinguished from war, disaster and disease. Sin and evil occur in war, but war as a category is not necessarily evil. War can bring national freedom. The same is true of pandemic disease. God's Word tells us that in the devil's world there is a time to talk, a time for war, a time to kill, and a time for peace. Eccles 3:8;
War is not inherently sinful or evil because conflict in devil's world is inevitable and sometimes war becomes necessary for the establishment or maintenance of freedom. Rev 19:11; Rev 19:15-16; Rev 19:21;
Similarly, disease or pestilence is not inherently sinful or evil and God is not disciplining everyone who is sick or who dies. Some are suffering for blessing or are glorifying God through undeserved suffering for blessing or dying grace. Psa 116:15;
We have noted in our study of satan's cosmic systems, his system of evil has two spheres, cosmic one and cosmic two.
In cosmic one, sin nature control of the soul replaces the filling ministry of the Holy Spirit causing the believer to grieve the Holy Spirit. The power of cosmic one is arrogance.
In cosmic two, the interlocking systems of envy, hatred and implacability cause the believer to quench the Spirit. The power of cosmic two is hatred.
Mental attitude arrogance that is anything related to preoccupation with self to the point of committing sin, human good or evil. It is satisfaction with self and dissatisfaction with others. There are at least 26 gates into cosmic one arrogance.
Negative volition arrogance from preoccupation with self causes apathy toward doctrine. The authority of the pastor or the message is rejected.
Impulsive arrogance is any abuse of authority.
