Heb 12:1-13; (NET) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us,
2 keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 Think of him who endured such opposition against himself by sinners, so that you may not grow weary in your souls and give up.
4 You have not yet resisted to the point of bloodshed in your struggle against sin.

5 And have you forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons? "My son, do not scorn the Lord's discipline or give up when he corrects you.
6 "For the Lord disciplines the one he loves and chastises every son he accepts."

7 Endure your suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline?
8 But if you do not experience discipline, something all sons have shared in, then you are illegitimate and are not sons.

9 Besides, we have experienced discipline from our earthly fathers and we respected them; shall we not submit ourselves all the more to the Father of spirits and receive life?

10 For they disciplined us for a little while as seemed good to them, but he does so for our benefit, that we may share his holiness.
11 Now all discipline seems painful at the time, not joyful. But later it produces the fruit of peace and righteousness for those trained by it.

12 Therefore, strengthen your listless hands and your weak knees,
13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but be healed.

1Pet 4:13-17; (NET) But rejoice in the degree that you have shared in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed you may also rejoice and be glad.
14 If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, who is the Spirit of God, rests on you.

15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer or thief or criminal or as a busybody.
16 But if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but glorify God that you bear such a name. (17) For it is time for judgment to begin, starting with the house of God. And if it starts with us, what will be the fate of those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?

We are presently in a study of the doctrine of evil that is the product of believing the false narrative of the public lie aka darkness that satan, the god of this world, fabricates and asserts in his war against God's Word of truth aka light. Eph 6:12; 2Cor 10:5;

When we stopped last time we were noting the conflict that occurs between active and passive arrogance and Exod 20:5; where God's Word reveals that passive arrogance is associated with freedom and prosperity that combines with negative volition for three or four generations.

Freedom and prosperity always originate from God's blessing to a large pivot of believers plus the principles of establishment. When people lose the thought and don't recognize the true source of their prosperity over several generations the people develop passive arrogance.

Passive arrogance accepts freedom and prosperity totally apart from human virtue and a sense of responsibility. Passive arrogance assumes one has a right to all those blessings without any adherence to the laws of divine establishment.

Passive arrogance by the Jews of the dispersion results in active arrogance on the part of their persecutors. No nation or race ever experiences a holocaust without the historical demand for it.

Negative volition, apostasy, and indifference from passive arrogance create the vacuum in the soul that attracts the persecution of active arrogance, holocaust, and historical disaster.

We see from this that the evil zeitgeist that is being exposed in the anti-establishment cities of the USA at this time is caused by the passive arrogance of the population that has scar tissue from their vacuous thinking. Eph 4:17-19;

Evil demands evil and cruelty demands cruelty, because passive arrogance demands the function of active arrogance against it. Active arrogance punishes passive arrogance until what was once active arrogance becomes prosperous and becomes passive arrogance.

This endless repeating cycle that is known as the Tytler cycle of freedom occurs throughout the entire course of human history until Jesus returns.

A nation can be the instrument of punishment through active arrogance on one day and the next day become the target of holocaust from failing the prosperity test and entering into passive arrogance.

The group with active arrogance generally has to be very cruel for it to be able to punish cruelty. It must be sufficiently evil to punish evil in the passive group. This has always been the pattern of history and therefore is part of the historical trend, that explains the Jewish holocaust and the rise and fall of nations and empires throughout human history.

When Jesus casts satan out of heaven in the middle of the Tribulation satan becomes so enraged and frustrated in his active arrogance that he becomes the instrument of punishment of the Jews in the last half of the Tribulation.

At that point the Jews have entered into a state of passive arrogance from the prosperity they have accrued from their alliance with the beast dictator at the beginning of the Tribulation.

Therefore, the groups who practice anti-Semitism generally possess an evil active self-righteous arrogance. Their evil self-righteous arrogance causes them to be intolerant so they gravitate to and attack passive arrogance.

This does not justify anti-Semitism, it simply explains it in terms of historical trends. The Jews who will be the victims of satan in the middle of the Tribulation are those apostate Jews who have developed passive arrogance from their residence and function in the cosmic system. The anti-Semitism that occurred in the Spanish Inquisition also illustrated this.

Ideology and religion destroy virtue and the grace and tolerance of nationalism.
This is because ideology religion produces arrogance and ignorance, cruelty and persecution, that override tolerance and substitutes cruelty.

Since a religious society cannot think or reason, in blind arrogance it becomes emotional. This emotion produces mob violence, persecution of passive arrogance, and cruelty resulting in holocaust.

Religion and Ideology stifle freedom, as demonstrated by Spain in the 15th century, England in the 17th century, and Moslem and Communist countries today. Religion doesn't allow others to make mistakes, but instead vigorously persecutes real or imagined failure.

Medieval history records the rise and fall of towns, the development of mobs to function under the principle of arrogance and intolerance creating the terrorism of active arrogance.

Therefore, anti-Semitism alternates with tolerance toward the Jew, but never for more than three or four generations. During the Medieval times the Jews bounced back and forth from persecution from the crusader arrogance of those involved with Christian religiosity and the Muslim religion.

Remember true Christianity is not a religion so it never uses its power to enforce conformity but the "Christian religiosity" demands and enforces conformity just like all other religions and ideologies.

When bad decisions get to the point of passive arrogance, there is always some barbaric intolerant group ready to attack. As active arrogance develops it becomes intolerant, irrational and insane.
