God's Word clearly reveals that human sin is motivated by the genetically formed sin nature and that sin is the product of a free will choice to disobey God's Word of truth.
If Christians, because of divine viewpoint, identify certain attitudes, statements, and behaviors as sin, the leftists accuse them of being bigoted and judgmental because leftists don't believe in God, Jesus, or His Word of absolute truth.
They do believe that people have genetic tendencies but they do not believe in sin because God's Word of truth is what defines sin and they reject God and His Word of truth.
They believe that what the "flesh" does is not sinful but instead it is an expression of individual rights. As long as this expression does not interfere with any other person's "rights" then there should be no law against it.
Mental propensities" must not be criticized but understood as being inherited. If thoughts, statements, or behaviors violate another's "rights" then the indiscretion is addressed by counseling and, should this fail, treated with drugs.
If however, the indiscretion is viewed as a criticism of another's thoughts, speech, or behavior from an establishment viewpoint then the accuser is the one who has the problem.

He then implies that the God of Israel will not be able to defend Judah against the power of Assyria because He did not protect the Northern Kingdom from Assyria in 721BC.
Rabshakeh's problem is that he does not have the doctrine required to properly analyze the function of God's will. God's omnipotence is employed to defend an ascendant client nation but it is often withheld when that same client nation is in decline.
The inventory of doctrinal truth in believers' thinking determines this ebb and flow. If Assyria was successful in subduing the Northern Kingdom it was because God's permissive will allowed it but God's withholding of His omnipotence was a disciplinary measure against Israel it was not an indication of His approval of Assyria.
