John 3:19-20; "This is the judgment, that the Light (the truth) has come into the world, and men loved the darkness (the lie) rather than the Light (the truth), for their deeds were evil.
20 "For everyone who does evil hates the Light (the truth), and does not come to the Light (truth) for fear that his (evil) deeds will be exposed.

Luke 8:16-18 (NET) "No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in can see the light.
17 For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light.
18 So listen carefully, for whoever has will be given more, but whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him."

2Cor 13:8; We can do nothing against the truth only for the truth.

Eccles 8:11; Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of men among them are given fully to do evil.

Heb 10:30-31; For we know the one who said, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people."31 It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Prov 6:16-19; (NET) There are six things that the Lord hates, even seven things that are an abomination to him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18 a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift to run to evil,
19 a false witness who pours out lies, and a person who spreads discord among family members.

Psalm 125:1-5; (NET) Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion; it cannot be upended and will endure forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, now and forevermore.

3 Indeed, the scepter of a wicked king will not settle upon the allotted land of the godly. Otherwise the godly might do what is wrong.
4 Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, to the morally upright!

5 As for those who are bent on traveling a sinful path, may the Lord remove them, along with those who behave wickedly! May Israel experience peace!

Psalm 91:1-9; (NET) 1 As for you, the one who lives in the shelter of the sovereign One, and resides in the protective shadow of the mighty king -
2 I say this about the Lord, my shelter and my stronghold, my God in whom I trust

3 he will certainly rescue you from the snare of the hunter and from the destructive plague.
4 He will shelter you with his wings; you will find safety under his wings. His faithfulness is like a shield or a protective wall.

5 You need not fear the terrors of the night, the arrow that flies by day,
6 the plague that comes in the darkness, or the disease that comes at noon.

7 Though a thousand may fall beside you, and a multitude on your right side, it will not reach you.
8 Certainly you with your very own eyes see the Nemesis of the wicked.

9 because you have taken refuge in the Lord, my shelter, the sovereign One.

Isa 26:3-4; You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

1Peter 3:12; For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer. But the Lord opposes evil people.

James 5:16; Admit your failures to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much.

Never forget that Jesus always plays chicken with the devil and his lying deceitful sycophants and snatches glorious victory from the jaws of what the false narrative of their public lie alleges falsely to be unavoidable imminent defeat. Psa 23:4; 2Cor 12:9-10; 2Cor 13:8;

We just concluded our study of Jonah, Nineveh, Israel, Judah, Assyria, and Nemesis and where we see God's policy of grace before judgment. God always provides the opportunity for repentance before he executes judgment. Jonah 3:3-10;

We saw God's remedy for the Assyrian lies and fraud was the destruction of their 185,000 man army. Isa 37:36; God's remedy for the lies an fraud of this past election under the principle that we can do nothing against the truth and the principle of sowing to the wind and reaping the whirlwind will most likely be similar.

In this context, last time we started a brief study on the doctrine of repentance. We noted that repentance is translated from the Greek verb "metanoeo," the Greek noun "metanoia," and the Hebrew verbs nacham" and "shuwb,"

Repentance is a change of mind from thinking the false narrative of satan's public lie to thinking God's Word of truth. This is something the every human being must learn to do on a continuous basis.

When we left off last time we were noting that acceleration from momentum in the spiritual life demands repentance from human good, Heb 6:1. This is because human good is dead to God's grace policy because it is the product of the OSN inside satan's cosmic system..

Satan's cosmic system produces nothing but dead works so all human good is dead works. Human good is the knowledge of "good" described in Gen 2:17;

Human good is linked with arrogance and produces boasting, Eph 2:9; Rom 4:2.
Human good is never acceptable to God, Isa 64:6. Rom 3:10-18;
Human good does not save anyone, Eph 2:8-9. Rom 8:1-3;

The believer's human good will be judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ, 1Cor 3:11-16; Rom 5:10; 2Cor 5:10;

The unbeliever's human good will be judged at the great white throne judgment, Rev 20:12-15.

God's mandate for a change of attitude (repentance) about human good and sin is taught in Rev 2:5,16,22. A change of attitude toward God's Word of truth is how believers recover from reversionism. Rom 2:5; Rev 3:19.

When the word repentance is used to describe God it is actually an anthropopathism.
An anthropopathism ascribes to God a human characteristic that He does not actually possess, it is used to explain a divine policy from the point of view of a human frame of reference..

God never changes His mind, (Heb 13:8) but is described as doing so to in such passages as Gen 6:6; Exod 32:11-14; 1Sam 15:35; Psa 90:11-13; Jer 26:3,13.
