The judgment seat of Christ part 2

2Tim 3:12-13; Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.13 and evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Phil 1:29; For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also on behalf of Him to suffer,

Heb 9:27; NET And just as people are appointed once to die once and then to face judgment,

Rom 8:28; We know that to those who Love God, those who are called according to His purpose God works all things together for good.

Eph 2:8-10; 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

James 1:12; Happy is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Matt 6:19-21;"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 "But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Psa 118:6; The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?

John 19:10-11; So Pilate said to Him, "You do not speak to me? Do you not know that I have authority to release you, and I have authority to crucify you?"
11 Jesus answered, "You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."

1John 4:17-19; By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
19 We love, because He first loved us.

Rev 3:11; I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown. NET note 45

2Cor 4:1-18; Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart,
2 but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4 in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
5 For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake.

6 For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;

8 we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing;
9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
10 always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

11 For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
12 So death works in us, but life in you.
13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore we also speak,

14 knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,
18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Last we started a study on the believer's evaluation after the exit resurrection based on the last phrase of God's warning to Smyrna in Rev 2:10;. We were noting this evaluation in 1Cor 3:11-15;

We also noted that what God does for us cannot be lost, cannot be changed, and cannot be removed. Eternal security depends upon the immutable integrity of God while confidence toward God depends on the integrity of the believer that depends on the believer having doctrinal viewpoint.

Failure to live in God's spiritual power system may destroy the believer's confidence in God but that failure can never destroy the believer's eternal security. Therefore the principle of 2Tim 2:11-13; eternal security is permanent and cannot be destroyed by the believer's failure.

Confidence in God is a motivating virtue that is lost when the believer resides and functions inside satan's cosmic system but the principle of eternal security: is never ever an issue at the judgment seat of Christ because every believer is eternally secure. John 10:28; 1Pet 1:3-5;

The believer who refuses to live in God's system will experience shame at least for a moment when Jesus refuses to give them their reward at the judgment seat of Christ. They will be in a resurrection body but there is that implication of experiencing shame at the loss of their reward.

This is probably the closest thing to any unhappiness that can ever happen in eternity in heaven, It appears to only be temporary at that moment of being refused reward. Phil 1:20,

Confidence in time infers reward in eternity. Phil. 3:18-19, "for many keep walking in the cosmic system" The apostle Paul had an emotional response to his observation of cosmic believers: "they are the enemies of the cross of Christ."
