Jer 50:6-7; "My people have become lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray. They have wandered around in the mountains. They have roamed from one mountain and hill to another. They have forgotten their resting place.
7 All who encountered them devoured them. Their enemies who did this said, 'We are not liable for punishment! For those people have sinned against the Lord, their true pasture. They have sinned against the Lord in whom their ancestors trusted.'
We've noted how these evil people and imposters are working to turn God's client nation into a totalitarian state and they call anyone who opposes them insurrectionists and traitors.
But God is using the wrath of man to praise Him Psa 78:10 because the truth cannot be denied 2Cor 13:10; and working the entire mess together for the benefit of those who love Him. Rom 8:28; those who wait patiently for Him Isa 40:31;
Because Jesus came to save what was lost and destroy the works of the devil. Matt 18:11; 1John 3:8c; who deceives the entire world Rev 12:9;
Psa 34:19; Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
2Cor 12:9-10; He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong
2Cor 4:17-18; For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Last time in our study on the judgment seat of Christ we noted that Bible doctrine can only be learned and applied under the experiential status of the filling of the Spirit who is the one who actually teacher doctrine to believers. The active voice: God the Holy Spirit produces the action of the verb teaching positive believers under the communication ministry of their pastor, per John 14:26; John 16:12-15; 1Cor 2:9-16; and 1John 2:27;
No one can properly understand and learn God's Word of truth without the filling and mentor ministry of God the Holy Spirit. 1Cor 2:14;
Everything that God mandates for believers to do is predicated on the filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit and the PMA of Bible Doctrine because they are the power options of God's spiritual power system.
Persistence under filling ministry of God the Holy Spirit and the PMA of God's Word of truth are therefore the sine que non for the believer to receive reward at the judgment seat of Christ.
Rev 2:11; Next we have the dative plural indirect object from the noun "ekklesia", referring to the classroom for learning Bible doctrine, correctly translated "churches".
It refers to the local church assembly. Communication is conducted inside the classroom of the local church assembly where the students are the congregation that assembles and the pastor communicates. This is why we have the mandate to assemble in Heb 10:25;
God has delegated pastors authority to communicate and they must be connected to the higher authority of Bible doctrine that is the thinking of Christ. 1Cor. 2:16 ; Eph 4:11-13;
Rev 2:11; This is a dative of indirect object, that indicates that the congregation is comprised of believers assembled in the local church who are those who benefit from the communication and teaching of God's Word of truth.
It is a dative of advantage because it is to the believer's advantage to hear and to learn Bible doctrine. Consequently the greatest decisions in life are the positive decisions made toward the PMA of Bible doctrine that is God's word of truth.
These decisions are determined by one's priorities in life, whatever they are. If Bible doctrine is the highest priority in one's scale of values that is positive toward doctrine and a demonstration of one's love for God. 1John 5:3; Loving God's Word is loving God.
God equips every believer with the logistical grace that is necessary to understand Bible doctrine but each believer must use his or her own free volition to choose to learn God's Word.
The perception of Bible doctrine is the sine que non for the believer's freedom and security because truth is the predicate for freedom and freedom is the predicate for security. There is no security apart from truth.
