2Tim 3:12-13; Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.13 because wicked men and imposters will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

2Chron 7:13; "If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people"

Believers who involved in the cosmic system have no wall of fire and are often disciplined by God during historical disaster.

God uses historical disaster to discipline and often to remove carnal cosmic believers from the earth. When too many carnal cosmic believers reject objective truth they form an anti-pivot so when there are too many carnal cosmic believers in the client nation the nation becomes self-destructive.

A nation will actually destroy itself were it not for the fact that every year God eliminates from the client nation a number of carnal cosmic believers.

Cosmic involvement rejects objective truth that results in social degeneration, economic disaster, and military defeat. This is what we see occurring in client nation USA at this time because we have too many carnal cosmic believers in our nation so God is allowing client nation USA to come under the cycles of discipline.

Lev 26:14-20; 'But if you do not obey Me and do not carry out all these commandments,
15 if, instead, you reject My statutes, and if your soul abhors My ordinances so as not to carry out all My commandments, and so break My covenant,

16 I, in turn, will do this to you: I will appoint over you a sudden terror, consumption and fever that will waste away the eyes and cause the soul to pine away; also, you will sow your seed uselessly, for your enemies will eat it up.
17'I will set My face against you so that you will be struck down before your enemies; and those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee when no one is pursuing you.

18 'If also after these things you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19'I will also break down your pride of power; I will also make your sky like iron and your earth like bronze.
20'Your strength will be spent uselessly, for your land will not yield its produce and the trees of the land will not yield their fruit.

The only way to restore the wall of fire is a national change of thinking and al to return to Divine Establishment.

2Chron 7:13-14; "If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land

Last time we started a verse-by-verse study of the book of Romans and got through verse 1 with the expanded translation:"Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, called an apostle, through having been appointed because of the Gospel from God."

In verse 1 we found 3 doctrines to explore: the doctrine of adjustment to God's justice, the doctrine of apostle, and the doctrine of the Gospel.

We started a study of the doctrine of God's justice where we noted that God's justice must be free to give blessing to sinful man without violating divine integrity. Whatever we receive in blessing, divine justice must approve first. Justice must approve everything that comes from God to man.

God's motivation is love; His decision is sovereignty. But neither love nor sovereignty can go any farther than justice will permit. Justice has the final say in whether we will be blessed or disciplined in this life

So the issue is how can God avoid compromising His perfect righteousness and still have a relationship with us? The missing link is our adjustment to God's justice.

Mankind cannot adjust to any of the other characteristics of God. We can only adjust to God's justice. Once a person adjusts to God's justice, everything else in life will fall into place.

Adjustment to God's justice provides God with the freedom for His perfect justice to provide either blessing or cursing for us through grace without compromising or jeopardizing any aspect of His perfect essence. Whether we are blessed or disciplined, God's integrity is never violated or compromised. God remains perfect.

Adjustment to God's justice occurs in three categories: salvation, rebound, and spiritual maturity.

Salvation Adjustment to God's Justice starts with God's perfection.
God is fair; it is impossible for God to be unfair because He has perfect righteousness and immutability.

God can't change what He is: perfect justice. When perfect righteousness and justice team up, the blessing of salvation must be provided without any compromise to God's perfect essence.

God's justice administers what God's perfect righteousness demands. Therefore, perfect righteousness makes a demand upon justice: Justice cannot save anyone in the human race unless perfect righteousness is perfectly satisfied and remains perfect.

This means all the sins of the human race must be judged in someone who is qualified. Justice must judge to maintain the perfect status quo of God's perfect righteousness.

Deut 32:4; Job 37:23; Psa 19:9; Psa 50:6, Psa58: 11, Psa 89:14; Isa 45:21; Jer 50:7; Rom 3:26; Heb 10:30-31, Heb 12:23;

When Jesus Christ was on the cross, our sins were poured out on Him and judged by God's justice. 1Pet 2:24; 2Cor 5:21;

The guilt of the fallen sinful human race was shifted to Jesus Christ on the cross, Rom 5:12; Rom 6:23; we are born spiritually dead, but we are not born guilty.

Therefore God's justice was propitiated (satisfied) by the efficacious sacrifice of Christ on the cross.

The cross was a real and perfect courtroom. The work of Christ satisfied the justice of the Father, and freed anyone to believe in Christ, so that man is free to adjust to God's justice. God's justice is now free to pardon, and more, to justify sinful mankind through man's non-meritorious adjustment to God's justice, Rom 3:21-28, Rom 4:5, Rom 8:1;
