Believers who involved in the cosmic system have no wall of fire and are often disciplined by God during historical disaster.
God uses historical disaster to discipline and often to remove carnal cosmic believers from the earth. When too many carnal cosmic believers reject objective truth they form an anti-pivot so when there are too many carnal cosmic believers in the client nation the nation becomes self-destructive.
A nation will actually destroy itself were it not for the fact that every year God eliminates from the client nation a number of carnal cosmic believers.
Cosmic involvement rejects objective truth that results in social degeneration, economic disaster, and military defeat. This is what we see occurring in client nation USA at this time because we have too many carnal cosmic believers in our nation so God is allowing client nation USA to come under the cycles of discipline.
Lev 26:14-20; 'But if you do not obey Me and do not carry out all these commandments,
15 if, instead, you reject My statutes, and if your soul abhors My ordinances so as not to carry out all My commandments, and so break My covenant,
16 I, in turn, will do this to you: I will appoint over you a sudden terror, consumption and fever that will waste away the eyes and cause the soul to pine away; also, you will sow your seed uselessly, for your enemies will eat it up.
17'I will set My face against you so that you will be struck down before your enemies; and those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee when no one is pursuing you.
18 'If also after these things you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19'I will also break down your pride of power; I will also make your sky like iron and your earth like bronze.
20'Your strength will be spent uselessly, for your land will not yield its produce and the trees of the land will not yield their fruit.
The only way to restore the wall of fire is a national change of thinking and al to return to Divine Establishment.
2Chron 7:13-14; "If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
We are in a verse-by-verse study of the book of Romans and got through verse 1 with the expanded translation: "Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, called an apostle, through having been appointed because of the Gospel from God."
In the verse we found 3 doctrines to explore: the doctrine of adjustment to God's justice, the doctrine of apostle, and the doctrine of the Gospel.
In our study of the doctrine of God's justice we noted that there are 3 categories of mankind's adjustment to God's justice in time: salvation, rebound, and maturity, and three categories of God's adjustment to mankind in eternity: Rewards at the believer's evaluation, Eternal life in the new heaven and earth with God or eternal death in the lake of fire.
When we stopped last time we were discussing rebound adjustment to God's justice.
Failure to rebound results in judgment and discipline from God. Sin keeps believers off balance for their entire life. The inevitable result is cosmic reversionism from satans's propaganda mill.
Any believer can be spiritual or carnal. The reversionistic believer doesn't rebound so they perpetuate their carnality.
If you add anything to naming your sin, that is legalism that is not efficacious, because legalism and grace are mutually exclusive. Rebound combined with legalism is ineffective because God's grace is not involved and the result is human good instead of divine good.
God's process always involves grace and grace must precede any works.
When believers who have learned doctrine reject or become apathetic toward doctrine and neglect doctrinal teaching the result is reversionism and coming under the influence of cosmic evil.
This is called maturity maladjustment to God's Justice that is the believer's equivalent to the unbeliever's heathenism.
Maturity maladjustment to God's justice means loss of rewards and decorations at the believer's evaluation that results in loss of special blessings in eternity. During the believer's life in time maturity maladjustment to God's justice results in warning, intensive, and dying discipline.
God's grace has to operate in accord with God's justice so God waits to be gracious, Isa 30:18; Prov 1:3;
He waits for our adjustment to His justice, especially maturity adjustment. There is no supergrace blessing conveyed to believers apart from maximum Bible doctrine in their soul's stream of consciousness.
Mercy is grace directed toward the undeserving and compassion is grace in action. Grace action comes through justice because the Lord is always a God of justice so God so everything God does has to be in accord with His holiness that is comprised of righteousness and justice.
Adjustment or maladjustment to God's justice is the issue in the believer's spiritual life. This concept is described in Eccles 9:13- Eccles 10:13; NET
Cosmic people don't appreciate Bible doctrine in the believer's soul; but God does so don't expect people to bless you but God will.
Only Bible doctrine counts, not people. Only Bible doctrine saves the country; it is the secret weapon that wins all the wars including the cold civil war we are presently engaged in.
This brings us to the Doctrine of Apostleship.
Apostleship is the highest spiritual gift that God the Holy Spirit conveys on the basis of His sovereignty to recipients of salvation or those who were already saved at the beginning of the Church Age. 1Cor 12:11,28; Eph 4:11.
This gift stopped in 96 AD but while it lasted the apostle was the only communicator of doctrine who had authority over of more than one local assembly.
A pastor-teacher only has authority over one local assembly.
The current system of archbishops, bishops, and even popes or other types of people hierarchically controlling many local assemblies in large areas is erroneous. It is non-Biblical and often even blasphemous in its implementation because of the destruction Bible doctrine and the dissemination of false doctrine.
No clergyman has the authority to speak for God ex cathedra. In the Church Age God has spoken to us exclusively through His Word, and the highest authority remaining today is a pastor-teacher who has authority only in one single local assembly.
A pastor-teacher who gets doctrinally off track can be removed from the local assembly and the heresy doesn't spread over the entire world.
This means that hierarchical denominations are blasphemous abominations.
Apostleship is a temporary gift. A temporary gift is designed to carry the church until the canon of scripture was completed. There were many temporary gifts; some were terminated earlier than others.
The least important of the temporary gifts was the gift of "tongues" and it was the first one to be terminated. It was only designed to warn the Jewish people of the coming of the fifth cycle of discipline.
The exclusive purpose for the gift of "tongues" was for the evangelization of the Jews in Gentile languages regarding the termination of Judah before August of 70 AD when Jerusalem fell and since 70AD no one has spoken legitimately using the gift of "tongues."
There were other temporary gifts but the last one to go was apostleship. This was apostleship was necessary to complete the canon of scripture.
The apostles were not appointed until after the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ and the completion of His strategic victory on the cross. Eph 4:8,11;
Therefore the apostles to the Church must be distinguished from another group of apostles called the apostles to Israel. Matt 10:2-4;
Near the end of the Age of Israel, before the Church Age began, Jesus Christ in His earthly ministry appointed apostles to go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel and eleven of them survived into the Church Age and also became apostles to the Church. This spiritual gift of apostle exercised authority over all local churches until the canon was completed. Then the gift was terminated. Today, all local churches should be autonomous with authority vested in the canon of scripture and the local pastor-teacher.
The apostles had to be eyewitnesses to the resurrection of Christ. This certainly qualified the eleven, and Paul was also qualified by seeing Christ on the road to Damascus. Acts 1:22; 1Cor 9:1; 1Cor 15:8,9.
The authority of apostleship was established by possession of certain additional temporary gifts. Three temporary gifts were used to establish the authority of an apostle before he was well known.
They were the gifts of miracles, healing, and tongues.
